Thanks for thinking about joining us for the Dragan Weekender 2023! Here’s what you need to know.

The weekender is a streetboard meetup of riders from all over the world including the Dragan Pro Team and some special guests! It’s open to everyone. If you’ve been on the fence about trying a streetboard, this would be the perfect opportunity to give one a shot! We will have demo boards available for anyone to try.

Dragan will be coordinating the meetup and will be the main point of reference for any questions or information. Attendees are responsible for their own food, lodge and travel. Attendees will also be riding at their own risk and should have the appropriate insurance before attending.

We suggest checking out “Hotel Circle” in the Mission Valley West area of San Diego. This is a road that as the name suggests, has a huge variety of hotels for different budgets. Any of the accommodations on this road will put you at an approximately 15 minute drive from any of the main parks that we will be riding at.

If you want to shop around elsewhere for accommodation, please use the skatepark addresses below to make sure you are not too far away from all the action.

Where will we ride?

Each day will focus around a main park. They have been specifically chosen for their size, fun factor and location. Depending on the size of the final group and the stamina of everyone involved, we can make a vote for a second location on the same day. The schedule is subject to change before or during the meetup, depending on the needs of the group. The best way to stay up to date will be to join the “Dragan Weekender 2023” Facebook group. We will pin any last minute changes to the schedule to the top of the page.

Open discussion about checking out some street spots or other parks that are within the 25-30 minute drive area.

Food and beverage locations will be discussed closer to the event (or even on the day of). There is plenty to see and do if this is your first time in the city. We hope you come and have fun with us!

Southern California is graced with good weather for most of the year. This does not mean that it is 100% guaranteed that the weather conditions will be ideal on the day. If we are rained out, we will do our best to find an undercover spot and will bring some flat rails so we can all still ride together.
